This notice explains how Cornerstone Global Press handles personal information when you read our website, subscribe to emails, contact us, create an account, or buy a book. It covers cornerstoneglobalpress.com.
Who is responsible for your information?
Cornerstone Global Press operates this website and is responsible for the personal information collected through it. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. Please describe your request and the email address you used with us. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or identity documents unless we explain why additional verification is necessary.
What we collect and why
Newsletter subscriptions
When you choose to subscribe, we collect your email address, the date and wording of your consent, and the page where you signed up. We also keep technical records needed to process the subscription, prevent duplicate welcome emails, record delivery status, and manage unsubscribe requests.
The newsletter form requires your explicit consent. We use that consent to send Cornerstone articles, resources, and book updates. You do not need to subscribe to read free articles or send an inquiry. Contacting us or purchasing a book does not, by itself, give us permission to add you to the newsletter.
Contact and publishing inquiries
Our inquiry form collects your name, email address, selected topic, and message. These details are saved to handle your request and send an email receipt. We use them to reply, provide support, and keep a record of the conversation. Please introduce a publishing project before sending a full manuscript, and avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed for your request.
Accounts and purchases
If you register or buy through our website, we process the account, contact, billing, order, payment-status, and download-access information needed to provide the service. Payment providers process the payment information you enter into their checkout controls. Order records can include transaction references and payment status; they are different from full payment-card details.
Website use and security
Website hosting and related services process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, requests, and error logs to deliver pages, protect the site, and investigate problems. The newsletter form uses a short-lived keyed hash of the visitor’s IP address for rate limiting rather than saving the raw IP address in its subscriber table.
Our reasons for using personal information
- Your consent: sending the newsletter you requested. You may withdraw that consent.
- Providing a requested service: processing purchases, providing account and download access, and responding to steps you ask us to take before a purchase or publishing arrangement.
- Legitimate interests: responding to general inquiries, preventing abuse and duplicate processing, supporting readers, and maintaining a reliable website.
- Legal obligations: keeping records required for accounting, tax, or lawful requests.
The information needed for a subscription, inquiry, account, or purchase is identified in the relevant form. Without the required information, we may be unable to complete that request. Newsletter consent remains optional.
Services that help us operate the site
Information is handled by authorised site administrators and the services needed for the feature you use. The website runs on WordPress and WooCommerce with Hostinger hosting. Our Cornerstone newsletter integration stores subscription records in the website database, uses self-hosted n8n to process the welcome-email workflow, and sends through Zoho. Hostinger Reach is also installed for email-related functionality; the current custom welcome-email integration does not require Reach.
Other recipients can include the payment provider selected at checkout, website analytics and security services, professional advisers where necessary, and authorities where disclosure is required by law. An external bookseller you visit through a book link handles your purchase under its own privacy notice.
Some service providers operate internationally and may process information outside your country or the European Economic Area. The applicable processing location and transfer arrangements depend on the provider and service. Contact us for information about the provider involved in a particular request and its applicable arrangements.
Cookies, analytics, and external content
WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies for functions such as login, account sessions, carts, and checkout. These differ from analytics cookies. Google Analytics is connected through Site Kit to help us understand website use; it can process information about pages visited, interactions, and the device or browser used.
Use the cookie banner to accept or reject optional cookies. You can reopen it through Manage consent and change your choice at any time. Necessary cookies support essential site functions and remain enabled.
Google Analytics uses Google Site Kit’s advanced consent mode. Google’s tag can load before optional-cookie consent and send cookieless measurement signals while consent is denied. Rejecting optional cookies therefore does not mean that no connection to Google occurs.
You can also manage or block cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent login, cart, or checkout features from working. Browser controls alone are not a statement that all tracking has stopped. Google explains its processing at Google Privacy Policy and provides information about its Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Following an external link or loading content provided by another service can involve that service’s own data handling. Review the relevant provider’s privacy notice before using it.
How long information remains stored
Retention depends on the purpose of the record: an active subscription, proof of consent or withdrawal, an unresolved inquiry, account access, order fulfilment, accounting obligations, security, or a dispute. Our current newsletter integration retains subscriber and processing records in the website database. Unsubscribing marks the record as unsubscribed; it does not automatically erase it. Deactivating the integration also does not delete those records.
You may ask us to review or delete information that is no longer needed. Some information may need to remain for a legal obligation, to handle a claim, or to prevent further unwanted emails. We will explain any reason that limits a deletion request.
Unsubscribe and other privacy choices
Use the unsubscribe link in a Cornerstone newsletter email and confirm your choice on the page it opens. You may also email [email protected] from the subscribed address and ask to unsubscribe. Withdrawing newsletter consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal or necessary order-support messages.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your information, and to object to certain processing. You may also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority. These rights can have conditions and exceptions. Contact us to exercise them; we may need proportionate verification before disclosing account or order information.
Children and private information
Our articles and resources may be useful to families, but newsletter signup, accounts, purchases, and publishing inquiries are intended to be handled by adults. Please do not submit a child’s private information through a general form. If you believe a child has supplied personal information that should be removed, contact us.
Updates to this notice
We will update this page when the website’s data handling changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. For a question about your own information, contact [email protected].
